Private Consultancy
We are not a call centre. We are not a franchise. We are two professionals who have spent our careers inside the institutions your child is trying to enter β and we bring that experience to bear on every single engagement.
The Difference
Most academic consultants are well-meaning generalists. They have read the UCAS guidelines. They know what a personal statement is supposed to look like. They have never written a PhD thesis, taught at university level, or worked as a registered clinical professional.
We have. That is the difference. When Dr Chauhan reviews your child’s university application, he is not comparing it to a template β he is comparing it to what he knows, from the inside, a world-class application looks like. When Kamini coaches a pharmacy applicant, she is drawing on ten years of clinical practice and an understanding of what the profession actually demands.
This is not expertise we set aside between application seasons. It is the same knowledge we apply every week in our tuition sessions β which is precisely why our consultancy advice carries the weight it does.
What You Receive
Direct access to the consultants themselves
You work with Dr Chauhan or Kamini β not a junior associate or AI tool.
Bespoke strategy, not a template
Every plan is built around your child’s specific situation, targets, timeline, and strengths.
Honest, professional assessment
We tell you what we genuinely think β including things you may not want to hear. That is what professional advice looks like.

Our Services
The UCAS application is not simply a form β it is a carefully constructed case for why a specific student belongs at a specific set of universities. Our UCAS Application Strategy programme begins with a comprehensive assessment of the student’s academic profile, target institutions, and competitive landscape. We then build a structured application strategy that aligns university choices with realistic targets while ensuring the application presents the student in the strongest possible light.
The personal statement is the one component of a UCAS application that a student has full control over β and the one most frequently wasted. Through a structured coaching programme, we guide students from the first exploratory conversation about their motivations through to a fully refined, submission-ready document. We do not write the statement for the student. We draw out what is genuinely there, structure it with precision, and ensure every word earns its place.
Kamini leads personal statement coaching for Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Dentistry, and allied health programmes. Dr Chauhan leads for Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, and all other subjects.
A university interview invitation means you are academically competitive. The interview is where that competition is decided. We provide rigorous, realistic interview preparation for traditional panel interviews, Oxbridge-style tutorial interviews, and MMI circuits for Medicine and Pharmacy. Our preparation is not about scripted answers β it is about developing the thinking agility, subject knowledge, and professional composure that selectors are looking for.
Results day is one of the most high-pressure moments in an academic journey β and one of the moments where calm, expert guidance is most valuable. Whether a student has underperformed and faces Clearing, or has exceeded expectations and wants to pursue Adjustment, we provide real-time strategic support to help them make the best possible decision quickly and confidently.
The transition from A-Level or IB to first-year degree study is steeper than most students anticipate. The volume of independent work, the level of abstraction, and the academic writing standards expected at university are categorically different from anything encountered before. We support current university students β particularly in the Sciences and Mathematics β with the academic challenges that their programmes present.
Masters and doctoral applications require a fundamentally different approach from undergraduate ones. The personal statement becomes a research statement. The interview becomes a conversation between peers. Selection is based on academic potential, research alignment, and intellectual fit β not predicted grades and A-Level subjects. Dr Chauhan, as a doctoral graduate and former university lecturer, brings first-hand experience of what postgraduate selectors are looking for.
Led by Kamini K. Chauhan β GPhC-registered pharmacist with over a decade of clinical experience. This is not generic careers advice. This is specific, honest, professional mentorship from someone who has navigated the same path your child is considering. Kamini works with students who are serious about careers in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Dentistry, or allied health β helping them understand the reality of the profession and position themselves as credible candidates.
Some students are not failing β they are simply not performing at the level their ability should produce. There is a gap between potential and attainment that is not being explained by the school, not being addressed by current tuition, and not being understood by the student or their family. Our Academic Progress Consultancy is a diagnostic and strategic service that identifies the specific barriers to performance and builds a practical plan to address them.

A structured first session where we assess the student’s academic profile, application materials, target institutions, and specific needs. This is where the real work begins.
We produce a clear, written plan: what needs to happen, in what order, by what dates. Not a vague outline β a specific, actionable strategy.
Regular sessions β the frequency determined by the student’s timeline β with progress reviewed at each stage and the plan adjusted as needed.
The first conversation costs you nothing.
